We can study the propsed develolment and identify what type of notice is required to be served in order to fulfill the Party Wall etc Act 1996 requirements. We can then serve the appropriate party wall notices to the Adjoining Owner/Owners (AO). If the AO dissent to the works , we can prepare and agree a party wall award/party wall agreement. As aprt of the award, we can produce a schedule of the condition of the neighbouring properties, to ensure that you are not held responsible for any pre-existing defects.
We canstudy the propsed development by the Building Owner and then advise you of your rights under the Party Wall etc Act 1996. We can put in place all details required inplace to minimise the risk of damage to the party wall and your property. Monitor the building works during the construction stage, and identify any damage to your property. Please note that under the party wall Act, the developer/building owner is required to pay our fees on your behalf.

If the Adjoining Owner/Owners dissent to the Notice/Notices, then they could appoint the Building Owner's Surveyor to act on the Adjoining Owner behalf as well as the Building Owner's to preapre the required award. This is called the Agreed Survayor.
